BERLIN — The works of Elaine Donato, local artist, were recently unveiled in the cafe at Androscoggin Valley Hospital as part ofthe hospital’s Auxiliary Rotating Art Program. Every four weeks, this program features an artist and his/her work for display in the AVH Cafeteria.

Berlin native Donato’s works feature a variety of landscapes and people. Although she enjoys painting landscape scenery, Donato prefers the challenge of painting humans because “humans are more complicated,” she said.
