Selecting Brody Patenaude as Player of the Week was an easy decision based on the scoreboard alone.

“He has been our offensive catalyst all season, leading the team in goals and showing an uncanny ability to find the back of the net when the pressure is highest. What truly sets Brody apart, however, is what he does when the whistle isn’t blowing. He is a remarkable young man who leads by example. We’ve been particularly impressed with his role as a mentor; his approachability has made him a go-to leader for our underclassmen,” the Lake Region coaching staff — Head Coach Boden Dock, Assistant Don White and JV Greg Watkins — said. “He doesn’t just lead from the front; he reaches back to pull his teammates up with him. From a coaching perspective, Brody is a dream to work with. He possesses a rare combination of high-level talent and tremendous coach-ability. His respect for the staff and his peers is evident in every drill and every locker room talk. He represents the very best of our program’s values, both on and off the field.”
