University of Rhode Island graduates

The University of Rhode Island celebrated more 4,000 of its newest alumni during the 2026 Commencement. Approximately 3,800 undergraduate degrees and 900 graduate degrees were conveyed to students during the ceremonies which took place May 15-17, 2026. Among the graduates were: Kelly Gleysteen of Frye Island, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Data Science; Amanda Foss of Raymond, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology; and Maddison Lavertu-Foreman of Fryeburg, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
