Bridgton natives Caitlin Reum and Brogan Howard came up with a simple idea, as they watched the prices of everyday groceries climb higher and higher. Why not try and set up a small food pantry in town, open 24/7, for people that have food insecurity?

With the generosity of townspeople and other kind folks and businesses, that is exactly what they did. Bridgton’s Free Little Food Pantry soon opened up, and was immediately so popular and heavily used, that a second pantry was built for another part of town.
