Bridgton Highlands hosted its Retro Doubles Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 29. The event featured seven ladies’ teams and six men’s teams, with all players dressing in retro tennis attire. The tournament format also required participants to play the opening game of every match using wooden and metal vintage rackets.

The champions on the men’s side were Mark Mattuecci and Rick Siegrist, who defeated John Waldie and John Cole in a well-contested final. In the men’s consolation bracket, David Chaffee and Henry Coons defeated Elliot Pergll and Art Goldsmith.
