Lake Region workers, students, immigrants, and families on Monday, Sept. 1 will stand in solidarity with fellow Americans at thousands of events nationwide demanding an end to the billionaire takeover of our government.

The local action, which will feature notable speakers and take place in Shorey Park in Bridgton from 12 to 2 p.m., is part of a nationwide movement to fight for public schools over private profits, healthcare over hedge funds, and shared prosperity over free market politics.
