FRYEBURG — Fryeburg Fair, established in 1851, opens this Sunday, Oct. 4 and runs eight full days, Sunday to Sunday. This year is the 176th fair and, as always, is about agriculture, farming, history, and fall fun.

Fair President Dave Hastings says, “Every fall we welcome everyone to the greatest show in Maine. It’s like a big reunion. A wonderful tradition that we all look forward to.”
