To The Editor:

The Bridgton Planning Board, at its joint meeting with the Select Board (Oct. 21), did an outstanding job presenting the outline of the issues and proposing solutions relating to short term rentals (STRs). I am not especially concerned about Bridgton residents pursuing STRs in their private homes. Community relations and protection of their homes should motivate them to monitor activities of their clients and preserve the health and safety of their neighborhoods.
