To The Editor:

A lifelong fascination with politics and history, and the recognition of the importance of an informed citizenry, led me to become a public school teacher for over three decades. I always felt it important for students to assess facts and come to their own conclusions on what the facts reveal. Having retired from the classroom, I now feel a sense of duty to present fact-based information with which the greater public may form its own conclusions.
