To The Editor:

An off-year election can slip by without being noticed. For Bridgton residents, there is an election on Tuesday, Nov. 4, containing a warrant item to change the Equivalent Use Value that controls how much laundromats are charged for using the sewer system. This rate was established when the new sewer system was built. It is a rate that does not reflect a proper ratio for measuring usage of the sewer system by a laundromat and will not induce any laundromat to tie into the new sewer system. A “yes” vote will adjust that ratio to a more equitable level and lead to another customer for the sewer system.
