VOLUNTEERS Doss Hasson and Brenda Hambleton keep the Waterford Summer Breakfast dining room running smoothly.

WATERFORD — The first Waterford Summer Breakfast of 2025 was a great success! On a breezy Fourth of July morning, over 350 friends, neighbors, guests, and volunteers were served breakfast at the historic Wilkins Community House.

Continuing the decades-long tradition, three additional Wednesday morning breakfasts are coming in 2025: July 17, July 31, and August 14, from 7:30 to 10 a.m. The hearty menu includes scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, muffins, donut holes, juice, coffee, tea, and locally sourced real Maine maple syrup from Colonial Hill Farm in Waterford. Cost: $12 for adults, $8 for children aged 4-12.
