The Pinkies — Environmental Sculpture by Posey Moulton

The Magic Lantern Theater and Innovation Center will be offering several workshops for youth led by professional artists, thanks to a grant from the Maine Arts Commission. These classes will engage young people ages 6-12 in projects that explore the many forms of sculpture.

Renown ceramicist Martha Grover, owner of The Pottery Studio in Bethel, will teach a class in hand-building and glazing with clay on Thursday, July 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants will learn how to shape clay and add an underglaze for color, and will have opportunity to create several pieces. This class is $20 and includes all supplies and lunch.
