SUN SHINES ON FRYEBURG AND LOVELL — Heavy rain pounded the Lake Region area early Memorial Day morning, forcing the cancellation of the American Legion service planned for Farragut Park in Bridgton. But by 11 a.m. the rain ended and clouds cleared as sun returned for the Fryeburg Memorial Day parade and service. Roy Andrews was the Grand Marshall at Fryeburg’s parade.  He was in the Army and served as part of the Honor Guard at Arlington.  He is in a photo with Dave Tenney from the Fryeburg/Lovell VFW and Harvey Walker along with Bob Hatch.
