GRAVESTONE WORK — Molly Ockett DAR members spent time cleaning gravestones in a Bridgton cemetery.

Members of the Molly Ockett Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) participated in the Independence Day parade in Bridgton. Members decorated a patriotic float and handed out an impressive 1,350 flags to those assembled along the parade route.

In addition, during the first half of the year, the Chapter has added 300 books to the Children’s Book Box on the Bridgton Town Green, the Bridgton Community Center, and local Little Free Libraries.
