EP w47 in ye olden times Fair Squished Penny

Howdy neighbor!

At the risk of our editors needing to move this column to our Obituaries section, I feel compelled this week to follow poor news with worse; while in our last issue I lamented the recent passage from the world of Maines own Almanac, after 208 years of reliable service, this week I find propriety now demands we mourn yet another death — and tragically, that of something far older, more respectable, and even more reliable! I speak, of course, of the humble, dependable, noble Penny, may it rest in peace.
