CONWAY, N.H. — An exciting evening on Thursday, Dec. 4 opens the December schedule at the Majestic Theatre! The Majestic was chosen as the first East Coast stop on the Polyrhythmics’ tour in celebration of their eighth studio album, Life From Below, released this past September.
Polyrhythmics is a seven-piece instrumental powerhouse from Seattle. Their signature sound blends funk, soul, psychedelic rock, R&B, progressive jazz, and Afrobeat. The band has been together for more than fifteen years; they started in Seattle’s underground deep funk scene combining tight grooves with bold brass and the hypnotic percussion that gave them their name.Â
