“LUNCHTIME IN BRITTANY’ has been restored and will be unveiled at Fryeburg’s Pace Galleries.

 

FRYEBURG — The Pace Galleries this Saturday, Aug. 23 for its latest exhibit, featuring the unveiling of the restored piece, “Lunchtime In Brittany.” 

Widely regarded as Benjamin Newman’s masterwork, this painting was exhibited at the prestigious Salon de Paris in 1886 during the artist’s time in France, where he worked alongside Post- Impressionist Paul Gauguin.
