CONWAY — The first ever Chowder Cup Conway was a huge success according to officials at the Ham Ice Arena. Played Oct. 6-8 at the West Main Street venue, Mr. Pizza won the eight-team tournament to skate away with bragging rights.

“Thanks to all the teams for making it a great success, Health Scratch, Middlesex, Tuukkaa Dump and Franks Vending, and special thanks to Frechette Tire for stepping up and entering two teams and lastly congrats to champs, Mr. Pizza,” Dave Woodbury, general manager of Ham Ice Arena said.
