Most local school winter sports teams were involved in some sort of Christmas (Holiday) Tournament with the exceptions of the Gorham Alpine Ski Team (they will hopefully open up their season this Friday at Loon Mountain), the Berlin High School Unified Basketball Team (they played in a spirited alumni game this past Saturday) and the Berlin-Gorham girl’s hockey team (who had three regular season games during the break, losing to Hanover, 5-2, tying Souhagen, 2-2, and defeating Bishop Guertin, 5-2).
In action involving the Berlin-Gorham girls’ hockey team, the only information I have at this time is the 5-2 victory of Bishop Guertin, a game I had the pleasure of attending Saturday night at the Notre Dame Arena. See related story, this page, for details on the game.
