Good day to all of you sports’ fans and welcome to today’s version of Steve’s Sports’ Shorts. Today, I want to highlight another former Berlin High School student/athlete Amy Cayouette Hollingworth, whose dad, Al Cayouette, is a good friend and neighbor. In the course of conversations regarding our kids, Al did mention that one of his daughters, Amy, along with her husband, Glen Hollingworth, and their daughter Ella, are into various demanding, challenging races, whether it be running 5Ks and up to half-marathons to triathlons and so forth.
I interviewed Amy over the internet, with various questions regarding her racing career. Amy was always a very active individual back when she was in Berlin Junior High and right on through high school. She left the area to attend college, as you will read shortly, and as is normal in many cases I lost track of her.
