The Berlin-Gorham girls’ hockey team followed the Skate for Hope Benefit game with one of their own, this one in memory of Shawn Cooney, to support his family and a new scholarship in his name and for prostate cancer awareness.
A special ceremony was held prior to the game against Bedford, honoring Cooney’s memory and recognizing his family at center ice.
