BERLIN — Rollie Poirier’s Berlin High School softball team had a busy vacation schedule with three games in three days, going 3-0, scoring 47 runs, while allowing two, and improving their record to 5-1 in Division III.

I reported on their first game against Somersworth last week (a 15-0 win for Berlin) and the next two were similar as the Mountaineers used the short and long ball, their speed on the base paths, numerous walks and superb pitching from Sam McCann to top Mascoma Valley, 18-0, and Division II Kennett, 14-2.
