Conditions were tough and unforgiving at Cannon Mt. Friday for all eight teams competing in the Alpine Division IV all-day slalom meet, but they were tougher than usual for the short-handed Gorham team.

Missing Eileen Kelley and Bobby Langlands, due to scheduling conflicts, the team nevertheless had some fine individual efforts, according to coach Sherrill Tracy.
