To the editor:

It is said teachers touch many minds, and there is no doubt that Wayne King did so. Yet, he did so much more. He touched people’s hearts and souls. Wayne was a larger than life man, kind, devoted, professional, and always focused on helping others. Even before becoming an educator, he was service oriented. When he turned his energies to teaching, no one was outside his sphere of dedication.
