I watched a Frankenstein movie the other day. It made me think of the Democratic primary. Wouldn’t it be great if you could assemble your own candidate from the best parts of the people running? Kucinich’s passion, Lieberman’s integrity, Edward’s bone structure – just imagine what we could create. Since the assemble-your-own option is not available, here is one independent’s take on who would be best opposite George W. Bush in November.

The Three Amigos – The three most liberal candidates in the race each have some modest flaws. Carol Mosely-Braun has been linked to a handful of petty corruption problems and is a long-time legislator whom Illinois rejected for a second Senate term. Mosely-Braun has shown neither the capacity to manage nor to win broad support for her agenda.
