Police Commissioner Jim Wagner stepped down from the position Friday morning.

Wagner announced and submitted his resignation from the commission and the commission accepted the resignation at its meeting on Friday. Wagner said he needs to focus on his work, which frequently has him commuting between New Hampshire and New York.
