Selectmen listened to a proposal from Stephen Greaves, president of GDE Corporation of Greensboro Bend, Vermont, for a 72' x 70' x 7' salt shed to be constructed at the town garage.

The dome shaped structure would have a ground snow rating of 100 lbs. psf and two doorways 20' wide and 16' high. It is estimated that half of the building would hold 1,144 tons of loose salt. It comes with a 15 year warranty on the life of the fabric covering, but is expected to ...
