Scott Merrick originally began his political career as a sophomore in high school when he lobbied Congress to appropriate money for blood cancer research. After graduating from White Mountains Regional High School in 2003, Scott spent the summer volunteering for Howard Dean’s presidential campaign until the fall when he entered Tufts University.
