LANCASTER — Former state Sen. Jeffrey Woodburn is appealing his two convictions for criminal mischief while the state plans to retry him on domestic violence and simple assault charges that were overturned by the state Supreme Court.

It has been five years since Woodburn, 58, of Whitefield, was arrested on nine misdemeanor charges stemming from four alleged altercations with his then-fiancée, Emily Jacobs, and the case is still before Coos Superior Court.
