ERROL — A Vermont man suffered serious injuries in a utility terrain vehicle accident Saturday afternoon while a juvenile on his machine escaped with minor injuries.

Michael Anderson, 42, of Putney, Vt., was operating his UTV on the 13 Mile Woods Trail when he lost control while navigating a downhill segment and rolled the machine over. He was traveling in a group of three OHRVs and had a young passenger with him. Companions in his party immediately rendered aid and bystanders called 911.
