LANCASTER — A Berlin man, charged with trafficking substantial quantities of fentanyl and cocaine in northern New Hampshire, will serve at least eight years in state prison Timothy Bishop, age 52, pleaded guilty in Coos County Superior Court on October 11 to two counts of sale of a controlled drug-subsequent offense, three counts of conspiracy to sell the controlled drug fentanyl-subsequent offense, two counts of conspiracy to sell the controlled drug cocaine - subsequent offense, and one count of sale of a pistol or revolver without a license.

Law enforcement authorities said Bishop sold or coordinated the sale of controlled drugs to a confidential informant on multiple occasions, and on one occasion illegally sold a firearm as well. He had previously been convicted on a drug charge according to a press release from N.H. Attorney General John Formella.
