For four years, the Berlin Industrial Development and Park Authority has actively sought to purchase a 215-acre parcel of land that abuts the existing industrial park.

With a tentative agreement finally in place, the project hit a snag Tuesday when Mayor David Bertrand and City Councilor Tom McCue expressed some reservations about purchasing the land. The issue arose at BIDPA’s monthly meeting.
