LANCASTER — A Coos County jury on Thursday afternoon found Nomar Ramos-Rivera, 44, not guilty of second-degree murder reckless in the shooting death of Christopher D. Veliz, 40, on Feb. 3 in the apartment building they both lived in at 568 Sullivan St. in Berlin.
The jury also found Ramos-Rivera not guilty of second-degree murder knowing and not guilty of two charges of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon.
