BERLIN — Former Berlin High Career and Technical Education student Brice Corrigan is competing for a slot in the U.S. Open Weld Trials in Las Vegas in November. The top winner from the U.S. Open Weld Trials will go on to represent the USA in the World Skills Competition next summer in Leipzig, Germany.

“It’s pretty exciting,” said Roland Pinette, director of the Career and Technical Education program at Berlin High. “This is the first time we have had a student being invited to compete for the worlds,” he said.
