LANCASTER — A plea and sentencing hearing on Feb. 6 negated a trial on two felony charges facing Berlin resident Pedro Korzen, who was sentenced to serve 1 to 4 years in state prison on one of the two charges, a domestic violence incident, criminal threatening with a deadly weapon.

Two other charges — a felony criminal threatening with a deadly weapon and a misdemeanor simple assault — were suspended for five years and three years, respectively.
