BERLIN — Whether or not the city should have a commission to amend its charter to consider setting a tax cap will return for discussion at the next council meeting Feb. 17.

State Rep. Lori Korzen (R-Berlin) spoke about the tax cap during her comments at Monday night’s city council meeting. It was not made clear during the presentation why a state representative rather than the mayor, a city councilor or city manager would speak about a such a proposal.
