Fish and Game Conservation Officers were alerted to an injured snowboarder in the Ammonoosuc Ravine around 1:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon. The coordinates provided by 911 showed the injured snowboarder to be approximately 1 mile from the Base Station Parking lot.

Officials say that 29 year-old Owen Cassidy of Brunswick, ME was snowboarding the ravine when his snowboard tip drove into the snow in the run-out at the bottom of the ravine causing a boot top fracture to his right leg.
