CONCORD — A 52-year-old woman from southern New Hampshire has been indicted by a grand jury for slapping the face of a local election official working at the March 23 Raymond town election.

Attorney General John M. Formella, in a press release, said Tina Thomas, 52, of Raymond, has been indicted by a Rockingham County grand jury for assault under RSA 659:41 for knowingly causing unprivileged physical contact to a town officer in the discharge of the duty of their office at an election, a class B felony.
