The Salvation Army is hoping that its annual Christmas Kettle Campaign will mean a brighter holiday season for struggling men, women and children in New Hampshire.

Funds raised through the familiar red kettles are vital to The Salvation Army’s programs and services. This year’s statewide campaign goal is $1,256,700 as Salvation Army leaders attempt to meet the increasing demands for assistance. The charitable organization expects to have more than 100 red kettles throughout the state on street corners and shopping areas through Dec. 24.
