CONCORD – The League of NH Craftsmen represents excellence in fine craft through the work of its juried members, and its rigorous standards for self-expression, vision, and quality craftsmanship. Many of the League’s supporting members are also talented artisans and the Members’ Juried Exhibition, which starts on October 4 and runs until December 11 at The Gallery at The Craft Center and headquarters on 49 South Main Street in Concord, gives them, as well as juried members, an opportunity to showcase their work to the public. This is the 26th time that the exhibition has been held.
Both juried and supporting members of the League were invited to enter this exhibition and a panel reviewed all submissions and selected some for competitive, juried awards. The awards juror is Gretchen Keyworth, who will review all pieces in the exhibit for excellence in each medium. Keyworth is the Director Emerita/Former Chief Curator at the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton, MA and a notable figure in the craft world. The awards will be announced at 6 pm during the Opening Reception on Friday, October 4.
