William C. "Bill" Harper of Dublin Street, Gorham passed away Thursday afternoon (December 19, 2013) at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin with his family by his side following a period of declining health. He was 79.

Born on December 29, 1933 in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of Lew C. and Catherine (Jaeger) Harper. Bill grew up in Brooklyn and was a graduate of Lafayette High School.
