Red Cross offers volunteer training in Northern New Hampshire

GORHAM — To train additional Red Cross volunteers in the Northern New Hampshire territory, the Red Cross Disaster Bootcamp will be held on April 29-30, in Gorham. People who have some time to volunteer are urged to sign up as a Red Cross volunteer and join this fast track training so that when the call goes out, volunteers will mobilize.

The American Red Cross is a workforce made up of a 90 percent volunteer staff. Volunteers from all walks of life with varying experiences bring their talent and compassion to help deliver the Red Cross Mission — to alleviate suffering.
