The Androscoggin Valley Hospital Auxiliary is pleased to announce that quilts by Karen Flint, Donna Gagne, and Beth Lorden are on display at AVH, as part of its on-going Rotating Art Program.
Karen, Donna and Beth are sisters and Donna and Karen are employees of Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. Beth is an employee of Coos County Family Health Services.
Donna and Karen have been quilting since 2004 and quickly mastered their craft. They are also members of the Berlin Quilting Guild.
A third sister, Beth Lorden, joins in on some of the quilting sessions. All three are involved in making quilts, often given as gifts to their families for graduations, weddings, baby showers and other special events.
Karen Flint is the AVH Infection Control Professional while Donna Gagne is a part-time AVH Education Assistant. Beth works in the Payroll Department at Coos County Family Health Services.
All have made quilts that were donated to different charitable causes, including the AVH Relay for Life Team, Make a Wish Foundation, and the Berlin Rotary.
The quilt display in the Hospital Cafeteria will be shown until the end of December.
