BERLIN -- Mrs. Pauline S. Gallagher, 81, formerly of 1949 Riverside Drive, Berlin, passed away on Wednesday morning, Sept. 27, 2006 at the Fletcher Allen Health Care Center in Burlington, Vt., after a long illness. She was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on April 19, 1925, the the daughter of Louis and Katherine (Siskie) Stein and had lived in Berlin for most of her life. Pauline was a member of the UCC Congregational Church in Berlin and was active as a church volunteer. She was an avid bowler, liked to play golf and was a member of the Androscoggin Valley Hospital Auxiliary.

Members of the family include two sons, Tracy Gallagher of Newton, Mass., and Colin L. Gallagher of Berlin; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard R. Gallagher, who passed away on March 19, 1998.
