A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Aurore Lavoie, of Berlin, on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020, at St Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish with Father David Wong as celebrant. The cantor was Alexia Andre accompanied by Sandra Patrick as organist. The altar servers were Douglas Roy and Cecile Sickler.

Interment followed at St. Kieran Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were his grandsons, Nathan Lavoie, Christopher Taylor, Zachary Taylor, and Richard Lavoie.
