MILAN — Inspired by the recent New Hampshire DOT “Name A Plow” campaign, as well as Boston & Maine Railroad’s tradition of naming their steam locomotives, Milan & Dummer Ambulance partnered with Milan Village School to name their two ambulances.

Students throughout the school submitted entries with many notable names suggested. Examples included “Big Red”, “Mail Truck”, “Mint & Candy Cane” and “Trauma Llama Express” to name a few. Ultimately the names “Shake” for Ambulance 1 and “Bake” for Ambulance 2, a nod to the movie “Talladega Nights” was chosen. The winning entry was submitted by 6th-grader Mason Guerin. He was given an official Milan & Dummer Ambulance T-shirt and patch and will receive a ride to school in one of the ambulances one they are lettered with the name he chose. Congratulations goes out to Mason Guerin.
