CONCORD — The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services is announcing that New Hampshire will offer the Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer program for a third consecutive year. The program provides additional funds to families with eligible school-aged children to purchase groceries during the summer months when school meals are not available.
“Summer EBT is a lifeline for kids and families, helping ensure that every child has the nourishment they need to grow, learn and enjoy their summer,” said New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services Commissioner Lori Weaver. “It eases the weight of food insecurity and brings peace of mind to households across our communities. We are grateful for programs like Summer EBT that help ensure the health and well-being of children in every corner of our state.”
