WASHINGTON, D.C.— U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen spoke on the Senate floor to highlight Senate Republican obstruction of legislation to tackle climate change, despite the threat that it poses to all Americans.

In New Hampshire, climate change has shortened the fall foliage season, disrupted maple syrup production, and is exacerbating the stress on fisheries and increasing insect-borne disease that endangers the state’s moose population.
