BERLIN — Boy Scout leaders gathered at the Berlin Falls House Museum and Heritage Center on Friday to celebrate 60 years of scouting in the Berlin-Gorham area.

Dennis Murphy, representative of Scout Troop 207 and Cub Scout Troop 205, opened the Oct. 3 gathering with a recitation of the Scout oath. Former members of Scout troops joined him with the Scout hand salute and recited the oath: “On my honor, I will do my best, to do my duty, to God and my country, and to obey the Scout law, to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.”
