Mount Washington Seek the Peak hike-a-thon

Registration is currently underway for this year’s Seek the Peak hike-a-thon to take place on Saturday, July 24. To register, visit mountwashingon.org online or call (603) 356-2137 ext. 210 to receive a donor form by mail. Collect pledges from family and friends between now and the day of the event, and if you collect more than $100 in pledges the $25 registration fee will be waived. All registrants will receive passes to the Observatory’s museum on the summit and the newly renovated Mount Washington Center museum, as well as tickets to the Awards BBQ at Wildcat Ski Area in Pinkham Notch. Hikers reaching the 6,288-foot summit will receive a behind-the-scenes tour of the Observatory by Observatory staff.

Presented by L.L.Bean and Subaru, all proceeds raised by Seek the Peak will go to the Mount Washington Observatory to support research and operations on the summit of Mount Washington. This is the major fundraiser of the year for the non-profit, membership supported Observatory.
